The Historic Queen Isabel Inn - Port Isabel
A Texas Historic Landmark, the Queen Isabel Inn was constructed at the turn of the century originally as an exclusive hunting and fishing club on the Laguna Madre Bay at Point Isabel. Built adjacent to the Rio Grande Railroad depot, it became the first seaside resort in the Rio Grande Valley and is one of a few surviving historic inns on the South Texas coast.
